AAU Tournaments

From my personal experiences with various AAU tournaments, I know

the Top 3 AAU tournaments in the country. These tournaments help

high school players, from around the country, get exposure in

front of NCAA coaches and recruiters. The Main Event in Las Vegas,

Nevada; The Kingwood Classic in Houston, TX; and The Great American

Shootout in North Texas.



Main Event Tournament In Las Vegas
This is a very popular tournament, located in Las Vegas, Nevada, that gives high school players a chance to play in front of the best college coaches and recruiters in the nation. The Main Event basketball tournment is July 22-26. There are a lot of hotels in Las Vegas, off the Strip. It's best to get your hotel early because there are a lot of other tournaments going on at the same time. Click the link to see how to register!




Kingwood Classic in Houston
The Kingwood Classic takes place in Houston, TX. This is another popular tournament for basketball players to get exosure in front of NCAA coaches. This tournament starts a little before most kids get out of school for the summer. It goes on April 24-26. As said before, get your hotel in Houston early. Great American Shootout
The Great American Shootout actually hosts multiple tournaments. They hold three tournaments in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. They host tournaments on March 28-29, May 9-10, and May 23-25. There are also tournaments June 5-7 in College Station/Bryan, TX; June 19-21 in Austin, TX; and July 10-13 in Denton, TX. Make sure you reserve a hotel room in Texas early.
