The Phoenix Mercury will square off against its Western Conference rival the Seattle Storm on Tuesday, July 25. Fans are encouraged to wear their favorite white t-shirt to the game to help WHITE OUT the Storm in a game that will be nationally televised on ESPN2. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., fans can be a part of Mercury mascot Scorch's birthday bash in the Casino Arizona Pavilion. The event is sponsored by the Arizona Department of Health Services and will feature Phoenix Suns mascots Hairy, Hairy-son and the Gorilla, along with Arizona State mascot Sparky. The first 200 kids will receive cake and milk courtesy of Shamrock Farms. Kids will have the opportunity to get autographs from all of the mascots and receive cake and milk during the pre-game festivities. Following the game, adults can also pick up a WNBA/Phoenix Mercury antenna ball sponsored by Casino Arizona. WHEN: Tuesday, July 25 TIME: Tip-off is 6:30 p.m. Pre-game party begins at 5:30 p.m. WHERE: U.S. Airways Center THE TEAM: The Mercury is coming off an 80-70 victory over the New York Liberty. Diana Taurasi, who leads the WNBA in scoring, paced the Mercury with 29 points. The team now hits the road for a three-game road trip this week that includes Indiana, Washington and Charlotte. BEST DEAL: The Family Fun Pack is just $48 and includes four lower-level tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas and two 10th Anniversary Phoenix Mercury t-shirts. Additional fans can be added to a Fun Pack for $12 each.
