Steve Nash leads training program with elite youth basketball players at the Nike Skills Academy19 July 2006
Twenty of Canada's best high school basketball players will join Steve Nash, two-time NBA MVP, for a workout session on July 19, 2006 at the University of British Columbia (UBC) as part of the Nike Skills Academy.
With the goal of putting young basketball stars a step ahead on and off the court, the Nike Skills Academy provides pro-level training, coaching as well as training in life skills.
In conjunction with the Nike Skills Academy and as part of Nike's continuing commitment to support youth athletes, Nike Canada will donate $50,000 in Nike apparel, footwear and equipment to various community centres in Victoria through the Steve Nash Foundation.
